The Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge will open the self-guided auto tour
again this weekend on Sunday, Sept. 25th from 8 a.m. To 4 p.m. Ottawa NWR
is located in Ottawa County about 15 miles east of Toledo. The self-guided
auto tour travels through seven miles of the refuge that is not usually
open to the public.
Waterfowl, wading birds, shorebirds, and a variety of raptors should all be
visible along the route.
