I had a few hours around this south Columbus suburb yesterday and today, so I spent part of yesterday around the new Walnut Woods Metropark, and today worked the Blacklick Creek corridor from Cruiser park north along the Blacklick bikepath to Winchester Lakes (not directly, since the pedestrian bridge over US33 isn't finished yet). Both days saw a decent fallout of vireos, warblers, & thrushes, along with a fair movement of Rough-winged swallows. The ponds along Richardson Rd in the new Walnut Woods park are developing well for shorebirds and dabbling ducks. Notables for both days included:

cormorants - they're getting widespread here when you start seeing them in small ponds like Cruiser Pond and Winchester Lake
waterfowl - among the expected Mallards & geese were 16+ Green-winged Teal in the ponds along Richardson Rd
shorebirds - the Richardson Rd ponds had both yellowlegs species and a Stilt Sandpiper
raptors - Cooper's Hawks in several places, but more unusual was a Black Vulture sitting on a pole near Winchester Lake
Chimney Swifts - a good-sized roost of 500+ birds was at Groveport Jr. High
Flycatchers - much less common now, with a few Wood Pewees (at Walnut Woods & the bikepath) and 1 Phoebe (WW)

Swallows - flocks of Rough-winged at Cruiser Pond (100+) and around the Richardson rd ponds (120+). A few Barn & Tree were mixed in with the latter flock.

Vireos - lots of Red-eyed on both Walnut Woods and the bikepath; a single Warbling was also at Walnut Woods

Thrushes - lots of Swainsons at both Walnut Woods and the bikepath. 2 Wood Thrushes were still along the bikepath, along with a Gray-cheeked thrush.

Mimids - loads of Catbirds at all sites. A Brown Thrasher was still around Walnut Woods and along the bikepath.

Cedar Waxwings - lots of 10-20 bird flocks, at several locations.

Warblers - fair numbers, good diversity included Parula (bikepath), Tennessee (many, several sites), Magnolia (WW, bikep), Chesnut-sided (WW), CapeMays (WW,bikep), Black-thr.Green (WW, bikep), Yellow-throated (WinchesterLake), Palm (WW), Blackburnian (WW, bikep), Blackpolls, Bay-breasteds, N.Waterthrush (WW), Redstart (lots at WW), C.Yellowthroats (WW,bikep,WinchLake)

Buntings - Indigos at both Walnut Woods (5+) and the bikepath (2-3)
Sparrows - surprisingly light, with only a few Song and Chipping
Blackbirds - first Redwing flocks, with 200+ at Cruiser Pond and another 60+ at Winchester lake
