Many of you have asked about when the road beyond the Bird Center will
be closed. So here is the official word:

The road beyond the Bird Center will be closed due to waterfowl hunting
beginning at sunset on October 10 through noon on Oct. 29.
And also from sunset on Nov. 14 through noon on Dec. 3. In addition
the road will be closed November 19 and 20 for a controlled youth deer
hunt.

The Bird Center, Observation Tower, and Walking Trails behind the Bird
Center will remain OPEN during this time.

No report of the Black-throated Gray Warbler today although folks are
still out there looking!
Happy Birding!
