The first winter LAUGHING GULL, first seen by Allan Claybon and reported by Donald Morse yesterday, was still present on the south swimming beach at 10am today, Wed. Sept 28. It was spooked off the beach by a Bald Eagle before my arrival, along with the resident Ring-billed Gulls, but luckily returned before I had to leave for work. While waiting for the gulls (& my first Ohio Laughing Gull), I watched 2 Osprey fishing, both unsuccessfully.

East Fork State Park is located in Clermont County. The south beach is accessed from SR 125.
