This morning the Darke County Birders held their annual Labor Day birding day.

4 county parks were explored.

American Crow  1
Carolina Chickadee  3
Tufted Titmouse  1
White-breasted Nuthatch  1
Carolina Wren  2
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher  1
Ruby-crowned Kinglet  1
Swainson's Thrush  1
American Robin  3
Gray Catbird  1
Ovenbird  1
Black-and-white Warbler  1
American Redstart  2
Magnolia Warbler  1
Bay-breasted Warbler  1
Blackburnian Warbler  1
Black-throated Green Warbler  1
Warbler species -I can't remember.
Indigo Bunting  1
Worth Family Preserve held normal birds:  wb nuthatch, downy wdp., red belly wdp, C. chickadee, etc. with one warbler species unidentified  Also Cooper's Hawk.
Eidson Woods Preserve besides the woods birds, there were lingering chat, indigo bunting and e. kingbird.
Praire Ridge was also birded.
