Monday morning at W Wilbeth Rd: blue-winged teals, northern shovelers, FIVE (family group) COMMON GALLINULES, lesser yellowlegs, Tennessee warblers, American redstart, Cape May warbler, magnolia, Blackburnian, blackpoll and palm warblers. This is the first I've seen the gallinules since May 2009 when they were still moorhens. The parking lot construction that summer, decreased ATV traffic and higher water levels have made them harder to find. The great blue herons have extended their modest rookery closer to the towpath.

Also, added blue-winged and Canada warblers at Firestone MP.

Peace,
Gregory Bennett

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities--all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.
