I just had a call from Ryan Golterman asking me to post that he presently, 10:15AM, has two Red-necked Phalaropes at Mosquito Wildlife Area in Trumbull County. The location is at the traditional shorebird area on Hoagland-Blackstub Road (TR203). The Phalaropes are visible from the road. The gravel pulloff is on the right (east) side of the road, north of Mahan Denman Road (TR240), when you see the water to the right. Other noteworthy birds present are: Stilt Sandpiper~1, Black-crowned Night-Heron~1 juvenile, Blue-winged Teal~30+, Great Egret~20+, and Greater Yellowlegs~3.
