I went to Villa Angela and Wildwood State Parks on the east side of Cleveland this afternoon  from 2:40 to 5pm as I probably won't get there for a few days.  These two parks are part of the Cleveland Lakefront State Parks.  As stated by others birds were a little slow today.  Most of the warblers were extremely high up in the trees in Villa Angela almost not visible.  Not many near the lake, further in the woods.  Only one warbler was low to the ground and I couldn't properly ID it so I had to send pictures to a very nice/knowledgeable person to ID it.  Here is some of what was seen:

Villa Angela

Double-crested Cormorants - many seen - group of 53+ landed off shore
Black-crowned Night-Heron 1 juv along Euclid Creek in Wildwood
Caspian Terns 2 on beach
Bonaparte's Gulls - at least 15 on beach
Empid Flycatcher 1 Wildwood
Swanson's Thrush 1 maybe 2

Magnolia Warblers  7
Blackburnian 1
American Redstart  4 (1 adult male)
Ovenbird 1 (high in trees in maple woods near mobile home park)
Mourning Warbler 1 female (with help - more noticeable eye ring than usual seen just west of grassy knoll in edge of bushes near woods
Common Yellowthroat 1 f
Wilson's Warbler  2

Cleveland Lakefront State Parks includes Edgewater Park, East 55th marina, Gordon Park, Euclid Beach, Villa Angela and Wildwood and the marina.  Wildwood is a boat launching destination by  a lot of fisherman etc.  They also fish along Euclid Creek.  They are going to be doing some major work in Wildwood on Euclid Creek in the near future rerouting the creek to how it used to be, redoing/changing the island.  The creek gets a lot of water during heavy rains from the suburbs and the bank is eroding.
