If you're looking for gulls in Franklin Co., don't forget to look up! ;)

I saw nearly 600 Ring-billed Gulls (plus a Herring or two) flying north up
the Olentangy River yesterday evening from about 5:45-6pm. Not much else
of note at the wetlands save a very high number of Robins.

The gulls were very high up, and easily observed almost directly overhead
from the wetlands building. Presumably heading to Delaware reservoir for
the night?

Tonight, if they repeat that pattern, they might also be observable from
elsewhere along the river (e.g. the OSU campus?) in case anyone wants to
try their luck at finding a Laughing, Franklin's, etc among them.

Good Birding,
Paul Hurtado
