What was very probably the black- tailed gull was just briefly seen from areas a and c at Ashtabula. ( see jen's migration blog for site reference). The bird was sitting atop the blue buildings with the white roof, near the salmon colored cranes. The bird has since flown to an area where it isn't currently visible, but it is hopefully still in the area.
