I checked Evans L. and Pine L. in eastern Mahoning Co. again today.  Both had lots of geese and gulls, while most of the ducks were at Pine L.  List for the 2 lakes combined: 700 Canada geese, 4 gadwalls, 50+ mallards, 50 n. shovelers, canvasback, bufflehead, 40 hooded mergansers, 60 common mergansers, 32 ruddy ducks, 13 common loons, 2 pied-billed grebes, 14 horned grebes, double-crested cormorant, 55 Am. coots, 1250 ring-billed gulls, and 30 herring gulls.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
