Heather Raymond posted earlier about the adult (nearly immaculate white) Snowy Owl that was observed by 40+ folks today visible looking north 1000 yards from Point C (the cement bridge) at Ashtabula Harbor. Scopes required for good views. The owl was sitting near motionless on raised ground near train tracks. Apparently in the early morning hours it had been sitting on the far northern break wall and was flushed by hunters/fisherman.

I've received several emails from folks asking if the bird was confirmed. Indeed, by many.
