There was a nice raft of around 400 ducks at Caesar Creek viewed from Harveysburg Rd – 6:00pm. Most abundant were Lesser Scaup but there were also lots of Gadwall.

Gadwall (~100)
American Wigeon
Black Duck
Mallard
Ring-necked Duck
Lesser Scaup (~150)
Surf Scoter (female)
Bufflehead
Hooded Merganser
Ruddy Duck

Pied-billed Grebe
Horned Grebe (29)
Common Loon (11)

As I was watching the ducks a smallish (I originally thought it was a swallow) shorebird came into view, flying around like it was going to land in the water very near the ducks. I never saw it touch down, and I eventually lost it.
