My highlights from Pickerington Ponds this morning include
1 adult Bald Eagle
1 Peregrine Falcon
2 Sandhill Cranes
1 Fox Sparrow

I also saw the following ducks:
Gadwall
American Wigeon
Mallard
Shoveler
Green-Winged Teal
Ring-Necked Duck
Ruddy Duck

The Peregrine Falcon scared up a flock of 9 shorebirds when he left his perch.
Quite white when flying, flashing in the sun. They landed in the water and
swam around for a while before taking off again and then landing on the shore.
Any other shorebirds swim besides phalaropes?
