Great day to be outside today!!  Pretty quiet birdwise,  but did see 4
beautiful Fox Sparrows on the Walking Trail behind the Bird Center.
The road to the boardwalk is open until sunset on Friday.  Check the
website for specific details:   www.friendsofmageemarsh.org

Seen or heard today at Magee Marsh:

Canada Goose,  Trumpeter Swan,  Tundra Swan, Wood Duck, American Wigeon,
American Black Duck, Mallard, Ruddy Duck, Pied-billed Grebe, Great Blue
Heron, Bald Eagle, Cooper's Hawk, American Coot, Double-crested
Cormorant, Winter Wren, Cedar Waxwings, Mourning Dove, Red-bellied
Woodpecker, Downy Woodpecker, Hairy Woodpecker,  American Crow, Blue
Jay, Black-capped Chickadee, Golden-crowned kinglet, American Robin,
Northern Cardinal  Fox Sparrow, Song Sparrow, White-throated sparrow,
Dark-eyed Junco, Red-winged Blackbird, Rusty Blackbird, Common Grackle,
House Finch, European Starling, American Goldfinch, House Sparrow.
