4 Glossy Ibis were seen again today at Ottawa NWR. They were in unit 8B
just west of the parking lot. We saw them from the deck, looking south
towards the woods and the road which is the beginning of the auto tour. The
best strategy is to wait for them to fly. We were hoping that the White
Ibis would be with them. Not so.

We stopped in at the Visitor's Center to chat with the staff. We learned
that staff had seen the White Ibis this morning in the same area (off
limits) as Sunday. The bird was photographed for documentation purposes.

The good news is that there is a scheduled auto tour at Ottawa this coming
Sunday from 9:00-4:00.
