Spoke with Helen Taft today who did a lakewatch from 11:00am to 1:30pm at
Lorain Harbor. She wanted to report a great movement of Red-breasted
Mergansers and some Ring-necked Ducks over the lake and a large group of
Bonaparte Gulls feeding in the harbor. One particular Bonaparte captured
her eye as it still retained a good portion of it's black hood. She also
noted a good movement of Snow Buntings of which some were landing in the
parking area at the harbor.
