Was there earlier today 9:30am to 11:20am before it started to hail. Here is some of what I saw:
Buffleheads 2 (in marina 1st I have seen in water here this fall)
Horned Grebes 10+
Yellow-rumped Warblers ~ 10
Brown Creepers 12-14
Golden-crowned Kinglets 25-30
Winter Wren 1
White-throated Sparrows 4-5
American Tree Sparrow 1
Swamp Sparrow 1
Belted Kingfisher 1m
B.C. Chickadees 6
Downy Woodpeckers 8
Sims Park
Most of the Yellow-rumps and creepers were in Villa Angela closer the lake. Didn't see any Juncos until I went to Sims Park in Euclid where they were very numerous. Ran into Paul & Susan. Still at least 24 Scoters were there from 11:35 to 12:30pm in three separate groups with 3 White-winged Scoters, at least 7 Surf Scoters and rest Black Scoters. Besides the Red-Breasted Mergansers there were a few large groups of Double-crested Cormorants flying west. There was tiny hail blowing in your face so I didn't get a good look to the east and left with frozen fingers.
