Hi all--As Mark reported, the BSBO pelagic enjoyed a beautiful day and as
usual great company‹though we'd have liked to get out to open water, when
they tried it we saw right away why they turned back. I'd just like to add a
a few birds to Mark's list:
On the river:
Hatch-year Great Blue Heron
Belted Kingfisher (m)
Red-tailed Hawk
American Kestrel
On the lake:
Mallard
American Black Duck
Ruddy Duck
Bufflehead
American Coot
And a flight of 4 or 5 Great Blue Herons over Dike 14
(I suppose the Rock Pigeon, European Starling and Canada Goose should be on
the list as well...)
