There was a flock of about 12 or so white winged scoters and about 20
common goldeneyes visible from Sims park beach and dock yesterday Sunday
Dec 11.
Needed a spotting scope however since they were at least 100 yards off
shore. Also needed gloves! So thanks to Jen Brumfield for telling me
about this list serve. I have several new (to me) birds on my list just
from following this list-serve and jumping in my car to bird within ½ hour
of my house! And thanks to those of you who post. For me, even some of
the birds which may seem common to most of you are new to me and I
appreciate being able to see what there is and where they are so I can go
look for some of them.
