Matt: For shorebirds, I really like "Shorebirds of North America - The
Photographic Guide" by Dennis Paulson. 2005. It has excellent, large photos
of each bird in several plumages and good ID descriptions in the text. My
only criticism is it does not have range maps, but rather range
