Howdy,



The Fremont Christmas Bird Count will be held Saturday, December 31.  This
count is hosted by the Ohio Young Birders Club and the Black Swamp Bird
Observatory.  Participants can RSVP ahead of time (419-898-4070 or
[log in to unmask]) for route assignments, or meet at 7:00 a.m. at Karen's
Restaurant at 921 East State Street in Fremont.  A tally rally pizza party
will be held at the Green Creek Hunting Club following the count.



The unseasonably warm weather will hopefully keep numbers high for both
species and participants.  This count covers a lot of different habitats,
and remember, this is also the count that had a Northern Gannet a few years
back, so don't overlook this interesting northwest Ohio circle!
