> Four days ago Shane Egleston reported two Red-necked Grebes on the West
> Carrollton Gravel Pits in Montgomery County. I was able to meet Shane there
> this morning and we saw that both grebes were still present. One appears to

> Shane saw a Surf Scoter here but we were not able to relocate it today but
> there are portions of the gravel pit hidden fron view so it may still be
> there. There is limited parking by the front gate which you cannot block.
> The No Tresspassing signs are taken very, very seriously here by local law
> enforcement so do not venture beyond the gate. The pits are loacetd on
> West-Carrollton-Farmersvill Rd approximately 1/2 miles east of Soldiers
> Home Rd.
