In Trumbull County their winter numbers fluctuate with the acorn crop. This
is a good year for them. On 12-4 while walking through the Mosquito Lake
State Campground and day use area I had 8 of them in the moist oak woodlands
there.

Curious why you would say this about the snow.  To the best of my knowledge
it is a year round bird for Ohio.
