Columbus Avid Birders have found an Adult California Gull in Lorain marina now- on second pier in from the interior breakwall, about two-thirds of the way out. Resting with head tucked most of the time. The mantle is darker than the surrounding ring bills but lighter than lesser black backed. When it does raise its head, look for the dark eye and red spot on the bill.

Good (cold) birding,

Andy Sewell
