The discussion of the puzzling small white goose observed at Ashtabula (Snoss's Goose) migrated from Ohio-birds to the Frontiers of Identification list.

David Sibley became sufficiently interested to produce a series of drawings of the heads of white geese to aid in identification.

Opinions were offered on both sides, but the possession arrow seems to be pointed towards hybrid now.
