Yesterday I observed a sharp-shinned hawk and an imm. bald eagle in Struthers. This afternoon in an hour at Evans L. I saw: 500+ Canada geese, redheads, c. goldeneye, common mergansers, ruddy ducks, 8 pied-billed grebes, red-shouldered hawk, 55 Am. coots, 3000+ ring-billed gulls, and herring gulls. The lake was about 25% frozen. Craig Holt, Lowellville
