A Snowy Owl has been seen the last two days at the corner of Treaty Line Rd and Phelps Rd just west of Byhalia. It has been perched on the first house south of Treaty Line; I've been told no one lives in this house, so don't feel bad about staring at it with optics. This owl was first found by Pam Williams, mail carrier in the area. She saw it between noon and 1 p.m. both days. Jim and Twyla Elliott also saw it and were able to get some pictures. As always, please be respectful of the owl, private property, and local traffic. If you see this bird, please let me know.
