Short-eared owls put on quite a show today at the Wilds. The first one was on Rt. 340 at 3:30 pm. The next 4 were on International Rd. around 4:00 - 5:00 pm. They perched, swooped, and glided close to the road. Great views! Other raptors: Rough-legged hawks, Northern harriers, Red-tailed hawks, Bald Eagle, and Kestrel.
