After not being sighted for nearly a week the shrike was spotted today
around 2pm on Johnson rd. The forces that be just hasnt allowed me and others to
confirm more than one bird in this area. I strongly suspect that there is. There
is a pretty vast network of shrike-able habitat between Herrick fen and johnson
road. If any body wants to try another spot that has had shrikes in the past...
park at the entrance to the Judson(& hudson rd) road bikepath ,walk 200-300 yds
west on the path and there is a bench with a path leading out to a  scrubby
field. It'll be a wind tunnel by the look of the next few days.
