Trying for a 100 bird January list! Started GREAT with twenty for the day! which includes Bald Eagles (Ad & IM), C Merg, WBNU,RBWP, and of course, the usual found around Grand Lake St Marys. Wish me luck - to date - I NEVER reach 100 ---- we leave Ohio before 1-31! Oh well, Fun to tryfor as many as I can get. But what's a girl to do?? Can't get a guy to take me to Astubula for the BTGU which would reallyget me some good numbers!! We could get a Snowy Owl in Hardin (or Astubula), Rufous Hummeralong the way in Holmes, Shrike also -----
We also, discussed the birds we would NEVER see here, he said I would have to have Kenn Kaufmanwith me before anyone would believe that I saw a Mississippi Kite!! Can I count pictures?? Or birds I hear while he is watching hunting shows? Good luck to all trying for a 100 mark!! Happy Birding, JillAuglaize County
