The Northern Shrike was on Funk Road between OH 95 and Angling Road this
morning. It was on the west side of the road in the vicinity of an old silo.

We observed 50 Tundra Swans flying over the Wildlife Area from the wildlife
observation tower off OH 95. There was a Red-shouldered Hawk in the woods as
we drove into the tower.

We also observed Bald Eagles on two nests in the area.

Good start to birding in 2012!
