I stopped in at sites on the lakefront from East 72 to Lorain Harbor.
The previously mentioned Long-tailed Duck was still located in front of
the power plant at E 72nd.

No Snowy Owl was seen at Burke Airport.

Lots of gulls at Wendy Park and Lorain Harbor, but I did not scan all of
them. The ones I did look at were either
Ring Bills or Herring. One Greater Black Back was in the water at E
72nd. I saw a few Bonapartes there and at Wendy Park.

A female Wood Duck was seen at the boat launch just west of the Avon
Lake power plant.

Two Black Crowned Night Herons were spotted at Merwin Rd. in the flats.

See you on the trails,

Chris Pierce
