The Roundhead, OH Snowy Owl was perched on a low rise in bean stubble about
50 meters from roadside at 9:45 AM today. Go north on 117/67 to the junction
of Township roads 21 and 25 north of Roundhead to begin your search.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] RFI: Snowy Owl locations

We're willing to travel within 150 or so miles of Lexington KY to view a
Snowy
Owl. Information concerning specific locations for viewing would be much
appreciated.

I just got a message that one has been recently seen in the Roundhead OH
area.
Can anyone confirm that sighting, how long, location, etc. That's getting a
bit out of our range...but we'd consider if it's a fairly reliable chance we

can view, but realize the birds won't necessarily be waiting around on us.

If anyone has specific locations and sightings would you be willing to share

phone numbers as we'd like to stay in contact as the weekend approaches?
Saturday or Sunday Jan. 14-15 are the only days we can travel this week.

Thanks,

Mark Morgan/Irene Camargo
Lexington KY
