Hi all,

While driving to Toledo today, I took the time to make a
few quick stops to see what’s around. Highlights (or lack thereof):

Lorain Harbor – An impressive number of gulls were present;
more than I have seen elsewhere along the lake recently. I didn’t have a scope with
me but was able to pick out an adult Lesser
Black-backed Gull with my binoculars. A couple hour scan through the gulls
should turn up something interesting.

Vermilion and Huron – Pretty much devoid of birds.

Maumee Bay - Northern
Shrike continues next to the Big Hill but the Snow Buntings have moved on.

Pearson Metropark – No sign of the Dickcissel that was
visiting the Window on Wildlife.

Good Birding,
Ethan Kistler
