This evening (Sunday Jan 15) at 5:45 PM, I saw two great horned owls from 
the Parking lot of southwest general hospital.  I was in the SE corner of 
the parking lot behind (south of) the hospital.  I was looking east toward 
the park which is part of the Lake-to-Lake trail.  They flew out of the 
woods, perched high in trees on the western edge of the woods (i.e., 
closest to the SE corner of the parking lot) and then started hunting 
after perching a short time.
