Just returned from a COLD visit to Ashtabula to see if our party of 4 could locate the Black-tailed Gull. After a 5 hr. search we found him in the channel sitting on the ice/water from the "point C" lookout. It soon awarded us with a reasonably close fly-by and crossed the road and flew south along the channel of water.
