Hello Ohio Birders,

I received another report from the OSU area of Columbus (Kenny and Carmack Rds.) from a non-birder who reports that at around 5 pm last Saturday" two cars and a handful of people were parked and looking down the road, talking on the phone. When I [the reporter] stopped to ask what happened, one lady pointed to a snowy owl on one of the small trees just south of Carmack, several feet from Kenny Rd."

Meanwhile, I (Dave Horn) drove that stretch of Kenny Rd. Saturday morning, twice Sunday afternoon and twice yesterday morning (not specifically birding, but working) and I've seen nothing worth reporting. I'll be in the area again this afternoon (working). I'm posting this sighting just to keep the possibility of an OSU snowy owl on everyone's list of possiblities.

Dave Horn
Columbus
