I've never seen a Cooper's go for a Gray Squirrel, but I have read reports
here (or maybe the Jersey list) of Red-tailed Hawks preying on accipiters
while they are sitting, exposed, on songbirds.  The Red-tailed may have
been going for the two-course prix fixe.
