Was at Sims Park in Euclid from 11:40AM TO 12:50PM. It was snowing lightly when I arrived but the winds weren't as bad then maybe 10mph SSW to SW. There were 2 Surf Scoters straight out with the Common Goldeneye. At first I thought one might be something else as the white patch on side of head was bolder but after it stopped snowing I felt they were probably both Surf. I stopped counting the Goldeneye when I saw the scoters so I stopped at ~ 150. Didn't feel like recounting as spent long time looking at the scoters. Didn't see any unusual ducks.
When I left Villa Angela/Wildwood around 2:30pm it felt like a norwester even though I believe the winds were out of the west. It said there were 40 mph gusts and when I was near the beach in Villa Angela it was pretty intense.
