After Seeing Sue's post about the shrike reappearing at Johnson Rd.
today, I thought I should report that I did not see a Shrike at Herrick
Fen today around 2:00 pm. I scoured the trail from the parking lot to
the fen. I'll check the open area Sue mentioned on the bike trail
tomorrow, as I run it every day. It is indeed a shrike-able area, but
there are many in the area that are not so accessible.
