Hi all,

Abnormally pigmented birds always cause a stir, as has the leucistic Northern Cardinal that is being seen along the Olentangy River in Columbus as reported on this listserv by Paul Hurtado.

Cardinal fans will probably appreciate a YELLOW cardinal, as was found three years ago by Tom Ruggles in Muskingum County. I saw Tom during the Chandlersville CBC last Friday, and was delighted to learn that the "yellowbird" is still alive and well.
