Pretty nice day at Killdeer this afternoon! Lots and Lots of waterfowl!
Swans everywhere
Notables include..

Greater-white fronted geese pond (3)
Rusty blackbirds in the nearby fields
A possible Golden Eagle (in the vicinity of pond 27). The only reason I
say possible is because I'm not sure if they have been seen in the area
recently. All the field markers added up. The first thing that led me to
the identification was the distinct white patches on the wings. To double
check I was able to scope the bird and check for the correct field markers.

Has anyone ever seen a golden eagle in this area?
Good birding,
Jeff
