For those that enjoy waterfowl against an icy/snowy backdrop - try Summit
Lake - Akron. This afternoon I found the following (mainly on the west
side of the lake).
Gadwall - 6
Hooded Merganser - 75+
Coots - 200+
Ruddy Duck - 6
C. Goldeneye - 3
Mallard - 40
Ring-Necked Duck - 1
Common Loon - 1
C. Geese - 100+
There was also a large gull in the middle of the lake amongst the RBGU's.
It was probably a Herring but was too far out to ID.
