Met up with my dad around 10 am today. My dad saw the lesser black-backed gull earlier this morning at the campground boat ramp. Other highlights: 2 Surf Scoters (campground), 1 White-winged Scoter (Furnas Shore Boat Ramp) flushed by a boat white wings easily seen, 3 American Wigeon (campground), 7 Northern Pintails (campground), 3 Lesser Scaup (campground), 1 female Greater Scaup (beach), 6 Ruddy Ducks (campground), 1 adult Bald Eagle (Furnas Shore boat ramp) picked up a Pied-billed Grebe but dropped it into the ice. Good day!
