Both Black-tailed gull and snowy owl are still in Ashtabula. Black-tailed
gull seen today by standing at the small roofed shelter up hill at very
west end of Lake Shore Park and looking west onto roof of blue building.
Other birders saw in am. I saw at around 3 pm.

Snowy owl seen at a great distance from there also but better seen from
location "C" on Jen Brumfield's map ( http://northnw.wordpress.com/bt-
gull/ ) and looking northwest. It was sitting on railroad tracks. Also
at a distance requiring spotting scope but better view than at Lake Shore
park.
