bird of the day was definatelyRed-winged Blackbird. there were at least 20 in the parkmostly in treetops singing their headsoff!additionally, 2 flocks totalling around 30flew over the area. another movement was 2 flocks totallingaround 15 - Robins.flocks flew off west northwest. only other birds seen "in" the reservewere 1 morning dove and 1 downywoodpecker and 2 finch sp (too far away to ID) the bay @ Gordon boat launch held verylittle - a few mallards and Canadas, lessthan 10 RBMergs and 10ish coots.few gulls - there were a couple visible orheard throughout my hike - but nothing outof the ordinary and not bib numbers. buster
