After several hours scoping waterfowl at Killdeer, I decided to take a
break about 2:30PM and run up to Oak Hill Cem. south of Upper Sandusky,
Wyandot Co.to check the hemlocks there. I was rewarded with one male &
three female WW Crossbills in western most hemlocks. They were very quiet
and did not move for 30 minutes from the hemlocks they were in, often
within 10 feet of me.

Waterfowl at Killdeer; primarily the large ponds on TR 108 and TR 68:

Mallards - many
Black ducks - a dozen or so
Pintails - many
Gadwall - many
Am. Wigeon - 30+
N. Shoveler - 6
Wood duck 2
Redhead - 2
Ring-necked Duck - 24
Tundra Swans - 169
Am. Coots - 50+

Also 5 bald eagles, 4 harriers, one rough legged hawk, 7 red-tailed hawks.

Passed by Big Island on way home and saw 5 SE Owls and many harriers there.
