Late post but last Friday as I pulled up in my driveway(Licking County)
there were 30-40 vultures coming out of my neighbors pasture. I was worried
that something had happened to one of his cows but they were checking out
our 2 captive vultures. Among the group were 6-10 Black vultures and 3 hawks
that were to high up to identify without binoculars.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] turkey vulture - geauga co

Went and sat in the fields for awhile this afternoon, to see what hawks
would
be aloft on this crisp, sunny day. Several red tails, one
pair flying together over the woods where there is a nest each year.

While watching them, I saw one turkey vulture fly by, quite low, and then
make a loop back again. First of season here.
