The birds were foraging between the snow squalls at the feeders. Observed
a group 12 Pine Siskins feeding along side a group of A. Goldfinches and
A. Tree Sparrows. A large group of Cardinals filled the trees and seemed
so bright against the white snowfall. One Hairy Woodpecker, several Downy,
and Red-Bellied were working the trees and often coming in for close looks
to the suet feeder. One male Red-winged Blackbird made an
appearance...think Spring!!
